Op 18 maart heeft de Nevobo bekend gemaakt dat alle competities van Topdivisie en lager per direct worden gestopt. Wat dit zal betekenen voor de competitie van 2020-2021, is nog onduidelijk.

Vooralsnog is het Sportcentrum tot en met 6 april 2020 gesloten. Er zullen tot die tijd dus geen trainingen zijn. Ook heeft de regering met ingang van 23 maart een verbod gegeven op evenementen tot en met 1 juni 2020. Vind hieronder een rijtje van de concrete gevolgen voor alle SVU-leden.

Online ALV
Op 18 mei zou de ALV plaatsvinden. Deze datum blijft staan, maar de ALV zal in een alternatieve, digitale vorm plaatsvinden. Meer informatie hierover zal volgen.

Sollicitaties
De sollicitatiedeadline voor het bestuur van SVU is verlengd tot en met zondag 12 april 23:59.

Lustrum
De Lustrumweek zal komen te vervallen, maar het gala op 5 juni 2020 zal wel doorgaan. Passe-partout houders die hun ticket al hebben betaald, zullen hun geld terug krijgen.

Wedstrijdshirts inleveren
Het seizoen is tot een einde gekomen, wat betekent dat de shirts weer ingeleverd moeten worden. Dit kan voorlopig nog niet op het Sportcentrum. Er zullen een aantal data komen waarop je je shirt op een locatie op Uilenstede kunt inleveren.
Heb je niet de mogelijkheid om je shirt in te leveren? Zorg er dan voor dat een ander SVU-lid dit voor je doet. Laat dit dan wel even weten aan de secretaris, Casper.

Contributie
Het seizoen is vroegtijdig tot een einde gebracht en ook het Sportcentrum is gesloten. Wij begrijpen dat er hierdoor vragen kunnen ontstaan over de kosten en de contributie. Wij zijn hiervan nog in overleg met het sportcentrum en wachten nader bericht af van de Nevobo. Wij zullen natuurlijk proberen zoveel mogelijk geld terug te krijgen, wij verwachten echter dat dit in veel gevallen niet mogelijk is en daardoor ook geen geld van de contributie terug kunnen geven. Dit is echter een verwachting, mocht er meer bekend zijn dan horen jullie dat natuurlijk.

Beachcompetitie
De beachcompetitie zou oorspronkelijk in mei beginnen, dit is door de maatregelen helaas niet mogelijk. De beachcie wacht verdere berichten van de overheid en de Nevobo af en zullen dan kijken of er eventueel is te organiseren valt voor de maand juni. Als dit zover is zullen jullie via de mail en via sociale media hier een update over ontvangen
Hierbij ook het verzoek om de velden van de VU niet meer te gebruiken, en eigenlijk sowieso niet meer met elkaar te beachvolleyballen. Dit om gevaar van de besmetting overdragen zo klein mogelijk te houden.

Actieve Leden Feest
De ALF op 22 mei zal niet doorgaan. Er wordt gekeken of het evenement naar een andere datum verplaatst kan worden.

Eindfeest
Het eindfeest, dat momenteel gepland staat op 26 juni, zal indien de maatregelen niet veranderen, gewoon doorgaan.

Sociale media
Houd de facebook, facebookgroep en de instagram van SVU goed in de gaten. Wij zullen jullie hier up-to-date houden van alle veranderingen.

On March 18th, the Nevobo announced that all competitions of Top Division and lower will be stopped immediately. It is still unclear what this will mean for the 2020-2021 competition.

For the time being, the Sportscentre is closed until the 6th of April 2020. There will be no training untill then. The government also banned all events untill June 2020. Find below a list of concrete consequences for all SVU members.

Online ALV
The ALV was supposed to take place on the 18th of May. This date will remain, but the ALV will take place in an alternative, digital form. More information will follow.

Board applications
The application deadline for the board of SVU has been extended untill the 12th of April at 13:59.

Lustrum
The Lustrum week will be cancelled, but the Prom on June the 5th, will continue. Passe-partout holders who have already paid for their ticket, will get a refund.

Return competition shirts
The season has com eto an end, which means that the shirts must be returned. This is not possible yet, considering the Sportscentre is closed. There will be a number of dates on which you can hand in your shirt at a location on Uienstede. If you don’t have the option to return your shirt on one of these dates, then please make sure to hand your shirt to another SVU member who can hand it in for you. Please let our secretary, Casper Donker, know who you gave it to.

Contribution
The season has come to an early end and the Sportscentre is also closed. We understand that this may raise questions about the costs. We are still in consultation with the Sportscentre and are waiting for further notice from the Nevobo. We will of course try to get as much money back as possible, but we expect that in many cases, this is not possible nd therefore we cannot give back any money from the contribution. However, this is an expectation. If more is known, then we will let you know.

Beach competition
The beach competition was originally supposed to start in May, unfortunately this is not possible due to the new measures. The Beachcie awaits further notice from the government and the Nevobo and will then see if there is the possibility to organize something for the month of June. If this is the case, you will receive an update.
The measures also include the request to stop using the VU pitches, and in any case, no longer play beachvolleybal together. This is to minimize the risk of transmission of the infection.

Active members party
The Active Members Party on May the 22th will not take place. We are looking into whether the event can be moved to another date.

End party
The closing party, currently scheduled for June 26th, will continue if measures don’t change.
