SVU Volleybal has super many fun committees that make playing volleyball at SVU even more fun. Do you want to make new friends quickly? Then don't hesitate to join a committee! Below is an overview of all the committees SVU Volleybal has.

The committee coordinator ensures that all committees are filled and that fun activities can be organized throughout the year.
Are you in a committee? Then you can earn one or more stars. Behind each committee, you’ll see how many stars you can earn. Have four or more stars? Then you'll be invited to the Active Members Party at the end of the year. Want to make sure you're there? Send a message to the committee coordinator quickly!
The ACCO is the committee that organizes the most activities every year. From parties to a beer cantus, the ACCO handles it all! Are you a real party planner or bursting with ideas for activities? Then join the ACCO!
Every year in November, the SVU event of the year takes place: the International Tournament. This weekend is all about volleyball and partying. For two nights, volleyball teams from across Europe visit SVU to experience the Amsterdam vibe.
The TC, or Technical Committee, gets together every year in August to form all the teams. This is always a challenge. Do you think you can take on this tough task? Then apply for the Technical Committee!
At the end of April, the last indoor matches are played, but don't worry! After that, you can still join the beach competition. These matches are held on the beach courts at the VU. So, join the Beachcie for the ultimate summer vibe!
The Introcie organizes the legendary intro weekend at the start of every season. This is where new members and SVU'ers really get to know each other for the first time. Do you love organizing fun games and are you a social butterfly? Then the Introcie is definitely for you!
Arcie – ★★★
SVU is required to have VS3 and VS3 second referees. To show our appreciation to everyone who is willing to do this on behalf of SVU, we have created a special committee for these members. The Arcie organizes 2-3 exclusive outings per year. Interested in refereeing at a higher level? Get in touch with hoofdtc@svuvolleybal.nl
Because playing volleyball during the day is just too ordinary, we move the matches to the evening and night during the Night Tournament. It all ends with a memorable party. How cool would it be if you got to organize this?!
The Promocie ensures that SVU Volleybal is represented at all introduction days and intro events, and will help throughout the year with promotional initiatives for social media channels and sponsors. Are you creative, love to take action and organize things, and maybe already have a great idea? Then the PromoCie is perfect for you!
Every year, SVU'ers dust off their gala dresses to attend the annual gala. To make sure the event looks top-notch, the Galacie is in charge. Every year, they turn it into an amazing party.
Are you passionate about taking photos? Then the Mediacie is looking for you! They make sure that all SVU members look great in the photos they take during SVU events and matches.
Have you seen those awesome blue SVU hoodies? We owe them to the MerCie! This committee is responsible for expanding the SVU Volleybal merch collection. Is there a secret designer in you, and do you have ideas for new SVU merchandise? Then this committee is the one for you!
The InTeam is the committee that takes care of the club magazine. The magazine is published three times a year, and especially after the IT and NT, it’s filled with fun updates. Want to develop your writing skills or are you just always up to date with the latest news? Then this committee is the perfect fit for you!
The SmoelenboekCie makes sure that every year, all SVU members get their photos taken and are featured in the Smoelenboek. At the start of the season, they take photos of both old and new members, giving everyone a fun insight into all the teams. Will you help them out?
Toernooicie – ★★
Do you want to organize the most fun tournaments within SVU? Then the Toernooicie is the committee for you! Organize tournaments with themes like the Oliebollen Tournament or Easter Tournament and come up with the coolest twists...
Do you love skiing? Then you're in luck because this committee is organizing a winter sports trip to the mountains! The SVU winter sports trip will be an unforgettable week full of snow, sports, and of course, daily après-ski adventures!
Subcommissies – ★
Our big events, the NT and IT, can use all the help they can get. Want to hand out hungover sandwiches at the IT or make sure the party venue is ready for an epic night during the NT? Then help out in a subcommittee!
This committee is responsible for auditing the treasurer. Are you good with numbers and detail-oriented? Then the Kasco is the committee for you!
