Try Outs
Try Outs
Every year at the end of the summer the try-outs are held. These selection trainings will take place for the season 2025-2026 on 18, 20, 25 and 27th of August.
When you register for the try-outs via the button above, you will receive an invitation email. It is possible that a spot will become available in a team earlier. In that case, you can be invited to train with us once to see if you fit in with the team.
Team Selections
On August 28th, 2025, the TC will form the teams for the 2025-2026 season. When you are assigned, you will receive an email about this. It is also possible that there is unfortunately no spot available, in which case you will be placed on the waiting list.
Levels
SVU competes in the following competitions in 2024-2025:
SVU H1 - Promotion class
SVU H2 - 1st class
SVU H3 - 2nd class
SVU H4 - 3rd class
SVU H5 - 4th class
SVU H6 - 6th class
SVU D1 - Promotion class
SVU D2 - 1st class
SVU D3 - 1st class
SVU D4 - 2nd class
SVU D5 - 3rd class
SVU D6 - 4th class
SVU D7 - 5th class
SVU D8 - 5th class
SVU D9 - 6th class

Good to know
Before you sign up, there are a few things that are helpful to know. The most important points are listed here.
Trainings
The training sessions are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. There are three rounds between 19:00 and 23:30. The training times change every few months to ensure that everyone trains at the same time equally often.
Matches
SVU Volleybal competes in the Nevobo competition with almost all of its teams. These matches are often played on Saturdays, but it’s also possible that the Nevobo schedules matches on other weekdays. So, make sure to take this into account!
Contribution
There are four different forms of membership, including 1x training members (€231.50), 2x training members (€261.50), mix members (€180) and alumni (€25). These amounts are set annually and may change for the 2025-2026 season. When you are assigned to a team, you are expected to fulfil this payment obligation. If you only attend for six months, it is possible to establish a separate payment agreement for this.
Teamsport
Volleyball is a team sport. When you are assigned to a team, you are expected to attend training sessions and matches. If you happen to miss something, it's not a problem, but keep in mind that your presence is important and you'll be counted on!
