You signed up, and then?
Each year at the end of the summer try outs for the coming season are held. Try-outs for the 2025-2026 season are on August 18, 20, 25, and 27. After registering via the button above, you’ll receive an invitation email. Sometimes spots open up during the season and you might be invited to try out with a team to see if you fit in.
Trainings take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings, split into three rounds between 19:00 and 23:30. The time slots rotate every few months so everyone gets a fair share of training slots. SVU competes in the Nevobo league, with matches mostly on Saturdays but occasionally on other weekdays to, so keep an eye on the schedule!

1x Training
Only have practice on Mondays or Wednesdays. Ladies 6, 7, 8 and 9 and Gents 4, 5 and 6.

Trains on Mondays and Wednesdays. Ladies 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and Gents 1, 2 and 3
For €263,- a year
Mix
A mixed team for beginners that trains once a week. Mix 1 takes part in monthly tournaments for recreational players.
For only €180,- a year
Alumni
Especially for former members who want to stay involved with the club. Can participate in nearly all SVU activities at the member’s price.
For only €25,- a year
Contribution
There are four types of membership: 1x training, 2x training, mixed team, and alumni. You can pay your membership fee in installments or in full via direct debit. Extra activities are charged separately via direct debit or Tikkie. If you join partway through the year, we can arrange a tailored payment plan.
Alumni
Alumni membership lets you stay part of SVU and support the club so we can keep growing and organizing the best events for everyone. To qualify, you must have played at SVU before, and the annual membership fee is €25.
You can cancel your membership by emailing secretaris@svuvolleybal.nl before September 1st, before the new season starts. No refunds are given for remaining months after cancellation. Alumni pay the same rates as regular members for all activities. As an alumni member, you can join most SVU activities throughout the year. To play in the International Tournament (IT), you must join an existing team. You’re always welcome to support during the IT!
