Party, Play, and Spike: Your Ultimate Amsterdam Volleyball Weekend!

Every year, SVU organises the International Tournament (IT) where you can compete against and show your volleyball skills to students from different countries. The International Tournament always takes place in November. The program is as follows: 

Friday, TBA November 2025
On Friday, you can check in around 17:00. Once everybody is settled, there will be a party on the Friday night starting at approximately 21:00 where you can meet the other participants. Around 03:00 it will be time to go to bed at the hall in the Sportcentrum VU. 

Saturday, TBA November 2025
On Saturday, matches will be played from 09:00 untill 18:00. There will be different poules; Gents, Ladies and Mix in the levels high to low. When you don't have a match yourself, you can go to the canteen where the organization has set out some drinks and food. Around 18:00 the hall will be turned into a restaurant where everybody will have dinner. After dinner there will be a themed party from approximately 21:00 untill 03:00. 

Sunday, TBA November 2025
Around 09:00, the matches for Sunday will start. After the matches (and maybe even the finals!), an award ceremony will take place. After this, it is time to clean up and say goodbye already. 

Some practical information
- Participation costs are €55,- per person.
- You can sign up in teams of 7 to 12 people until the 23rd of October. 
- This is a student tournament, therefore, at least 80% of your team members should be students. There is also an age requirement; participants should not be older than 30.
